Pretty Tea Parties is looking for talented, hardworking, and highly motivated Team Members to join our production and help make amazing parties happen. We do not pretend to be Disney Princesses, offer face paintings, or twisted balloon figures.  This means you, too, could be the right person if . . .

Job Requirements For All Positions:

• Must be at least 16 years of age up to mature adults, including active seniors.

• Requires a wide range of constant physical activities, including but not limited to: sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.

• Frequent movement, lifting, or carrying.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Must have the ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others, including guests and co-workers, are essential functions of the job.

• Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.

• Must communicate services with enthusiasm as this job is sales and management of party planning.

• Ability to speak conversational English is required.

• Ability to move quickly to set up parties with finesse. Be organized and clean throughout the shift.

• Help serve tea party food and clear tables.

• Everyone works all positions to clean, set up for next party and end of day tasks.

• All hands on deck, whatever it takes, responsibility. Demonstrate positive attitude, initiative, enthusiasm, and is highly motivated.

• No police / criminal record. Ability to clear background check. 

• Any tattoos must be covered

• Any face piercings must be removed when working with Guests

Party Host Positions for Audition:

• Experience and patience working with children.

• Ability to lead a group of children in age-appropriate birthday party-related activities.

• Theatre, stage, drama experience helpful.

• Singing ability.

• Enjoy braiding hair and creating up-dos.

• Complete confirmations, pre- and post-party duties according to the event needs/plan.

• Host and manage Birthday Parties and Specialty Events.

• Help children with selected attire.

• Develop new promotion/sales opportunities by developing relationships with neighborhood businesses and referrals.

• Responsible for ordering and maintaining all event supplies and materials.

• Maintain consistent communication with the client throughout the entire planning process

Kitchen Positions:

• Prep, assemble, plate, and garnish delicious tea party food items to specifications in a sanitary and timely manner

• Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently

• Maintain a clean kitchen by practicing good safety and sanitation requirements

• Manage a list of food requirements

• Current California Food Handler Card required

The Charming Prince Positions for Audition:

• Ability to properly fit specific Prince uniform supplied by Pretty Tea Parties (it's really nice and you won't look stupid)

• Ability to work well with children

• Ability to elegantly slow dance such as the Waltz

• Must be well groomed

• Must be charming, have a sweet smile and great posture

• Ability to be a showman and not afraid to take center stage

The Royal Honor Guards Positions for Audition:

• Ability to properly fit specific Royal Guard uniform supplied by Pretty Tea Parties (it's really nice and you'll look great)

• Ability to work well with children

• Ability to elegantly slow dance such as the Waltz

• Must be well groomed

• Must have great posture

• Ability to be a showman and not afraid to take center stage

The Fairy Godmother Positions for Audition:

• Ability to properly fit specific Fairy Godmother dress supplied by Pretty Tea Parties (it's very elegant and form fitting)

• Ability to work well with children

• Ability to elegantly and gracefully walk as if floating

• Must be well groomed

• Must be elegant, have a sweet smile and great posture

• Ability to be delightful, pleasant and not afraid to take center stage
